THE CHAPEL

Our flagship studio is South Chapel, a stunning Victorian chapel within Ilkley Cemetery, minutes walk from Ilkley Town centre.
To find us simply head into the cemetery and we are the chapel on the left, you cant miss it!!

Iconic, unique & utterly breathtaking. The Chapel has become known and loved among our community for its magical energy and peaceful woodland setting environment.

Both studios have a dedicated hot room with state of the art heating systems for hot yoga classes reaching 40-42 degrees.

The Chapel also has a beautiful second shala space for workshops, retreats and much more

The Chapel also boasts a recently renovated treatment room where we offer Ayurvedic Yoga Massage.

BRING

Light clothing. Water; 2 Towels (one for the yoga room, one for wiping down after class), Yoga Mat. Note: mats & towels may also be rented at the yoga studios.

AMENITIES

The Chapel has unisex toilets and area for students to leave, shoes coats and belongings. We do not have showers here (we chose to have a chapel over showers!) but we do provide washcloths to wash your face & deodorant to freshen up after class and other complimentary bits like hair bobbles and sanitary products.

In our small retail area we sell yoga mats, mat towels, water bottles, incense & healthy, vegan snacks for after class.

THE ENGINE HOUSE

THYC’S newest location is just minutes from Leeds City Centre in the heart of the newly developed South Bank. Come out the back of the train station and head through granary wharf, a lovely walk over the canal onto Water Lane (not far from Waterlane Boathose where there is a pay & display car park for those that need) and you will find us behind the Midnight Bell Pub within The Round Foundry courtyard.

The Engine House was formally used as a power source for The Tower Works. Exposed brick, steel beams and original metal work provide the perfect industrial vibe for our city centre studio.

BRING

Light clothing. Water; 2 Towels (one large one to cover your mat one for wiping down after class) Yoga Mat. Note: mats & towels may also be rented at the yoga studios.

AMENITIES

Our Leeds studio has a unisex toilet and cloakroom area with space to leave shoes, coats and belongings. Although we do not have showers; we do have 2x private cubicles with sinks and towels for changing and washing. We provide our handmade Chapel Apothecary organic handwash made using aromatherapy oils. Our vanity station has hairdryers and big mirrors. We also provide complimentary deodorant, hair bobbles and sanitary products.

Our Aquacool Water fountain provides ambient and cool filtered water to fill up your water bottles. Complimentary herbal tea and fruit provided after class.

In our retail area we sell yoga mats, mat towels, water bottles, THYC branded products and yoga clothing. In the fridge you can buy organic coconut water, kombucha and healthy, vegan snacks for after class.
